Bamboo Eco Resort has committed 2% of the Resort’s total project budget for community improvement projects. Once in operation, the Resort will contribute 10% of Annual Net Project Earnings towards an educational scholarship fund and on-going community improvement projects.

Currently, there is an immediate need for sustainable tourism development in Jamaica’s rural sector, as most of Jamaica’s resort development is concentrated in the main tourist areas of Montego Bay, Ocho Rios and Negril. |  |
